Kevin Kling, nationally known storyteller, presents Hammer Anvil, and Stirrup with cellist/ composers Michelle Kinney and Jacqueline Ultan at the Sheldon Theater in Red Wing, MN.
In Hammer, Anvil, and Stirrup (named for the tiny powerful bones of the inner ear), the trio explores through word and music the science of waves in sound, light, water, and emotion. How do these waves affect us on conscious, spiritual, and physical levels with their power of healing? Kling’s innate sense of observation brings an astute perspective with stories that are always timely. Hammer, Anvil, and Stirrup is a mixture of original music, folktales, historical accounts of both science and personal, along with necessary persistent postulations.
